Role Overview
As a Landscape Technician, you will help maintain and enhance outdoor landscapes with a keen eye for detail and a collaborative spirit. Work includes both residential and commercial spaces, covering softscape and hardscape tasks.
Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care tasks: mowing, edging, and blowing
- Operate power and hand tools for landscaping work
- Assist with softscape installations and building landscape features such as flower beds and borders
- Maintain landscaping equipment with regular checks and basic upkeep
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects safely and on schedule
Required Skills & Traits
- Proficiency with power tools (mowers, trimmers) and hand tools (rakes, shovels)
- Experience in lawn care and landscape maintenance
- Problem-solving abilities in field situations
- Physical stamina to perform manual outdoor work in all weather conditions
- Strong communication skills for working with team members and clients
- Mechanical knowledge, horticultural practices, or gardening techniques are a plus
